REGULATORY FLEXABILITY

The Drone Grand Prix is a racing competition using Warframe's Domestic Drones in specially created tracks within the OMWProductions.com Dojo. We are therefore aware of issues present in the track, and some opportunities for the public to influence how we approach specific obstacles when it comes to making a fair decision. With that in mind, unless there is a ruling by the designated admin of a race saying otherwise, all rulings will be handled by the paragraphs below.

INTERFERENCE

Only the designated admin may interfere with the drones pathing. Utilizing movement above the object that the drone's path is effectively stuck on. Priority on unsticking vehicles increases after the top 3 have completed the race. Each case of interference will be ruled upon on a case by case basis, on whether the race will be reran, or there will be given a penalty to a team.

RACE PROCEDURE

Each track will be raced for 10 completions based on a set timer provided by the admin. This set timer is not allowed to change once the races have started. The time it takes for each racer to complete the race up until the maximum set timer will be recorded, and scored based fastest completion or how many section the drone was able to complete.

Order of the drone's starting positions for the races will be determined prior to the race. There is no rule that these positions can't be changed between races, and thus is up to the discretion of the admins. The race will begin by exiting Decoration Mode after the drones have been put in their places. The admin will utilize LiveSplit to keep track of finish times and the time limit. After LiveSplit has indicated the time limit has been reached, the race will be ended by entering decoration mode.

Please see the scoring section to understand how the drone's finishing position determines score.

SERIES PROCEDURE

There will be 5 races/tracks in a series. Individual drones will be awarded circuit points based on their ranking across the 10 races of a track. It is the team with the most circuit points that determines the winners of the CRUX Season 1 Drone Grand Prix.

Each track will have 10 same day, back-to-back races. If a race does not complete, it will not be counted towards the 10 race total.

SCORING

The points for each individual race are as follows:

1st = 9
2nd = 7
3rd = 6
4th-5th = 5
6th-8th = 4
DNF = 1-3

DNF (did not finish) will get points based on how many markers they passed (for a maximum of 3).

After each series of 10 races, a circuit score will be given out at follows:

1st = 20
2nd = 16
3rd = 12
4th = 10
5th = 8
6th = 6
7th = 5
8th = 4

OUT OF BOUNDS

If a vehicle goes out of bounds and remains out of bounds until the designated timer, they will be given a DNF score from where they went out of bounds. If it is a persistent issue that has not been addressed, the course may be altered to accommodate this new issue.
