THE GAUNTLET
CHALLENGE DJWILMA
Challenge DJWilma, host of the CRUX Season 3, to a series of 5 challenges. 1 challenge per game to defeat him in a 1 versus 1 match. If you win the challenge, you move on to the next one, and so forth, until you have completed all 5 challenges and completed the Gauntlet. You only get 1 attempt per week, so practice up on the games, and ensure you have what it takes to defeat DJWilma.
WHAT ARE THE GAMES?
To maintain absolute fairness, all games will be free to play, and aimed at having no significant in game stat progression to enable the fairest matches for all competitors. The game include but are not limited to, Geoguessr, Brawlhalla, Team Fortress 2, MTG Arena, Rocket League, among others. Games of that week's Gauntlet will be posted on Social Media platforms, Discord, and advertised through out the streams to ensure you are well prepared for the competition.
HOW DOES THE SCORING WORK?
Competitors will earn points towards the leaderboard based on their performances across all 4 weeks. The break down of points are as follows:
- Participation = 5 points
- Round 1 Win = 8 Points
- Round 2 Win = 12 Points
- Round 3 Win = 17 Points
- Round 4 Win = 23 Points
- Gauntlet Win = 30 Points
EARN NRG & RIPS
Competitors will earn themselves 250 NRG/RIPs for participating in the Gauntlet and an addtional 1000 NRG/RIPs if they are able to complete the Gauntlet. Winning the competition overall will earn the winner 20,000 NRG/RIPs.
