STREAMER GAUNTLET RULES

MUST BE LIVE

Official CRUX Streamers must complete each challenge live during their Twitch Broadcast. While we will not check everyone's VODs, we will check the top scorers each week on how they performed. The Streamer must verbally indicate that they are undergoing the challenge, and cannot have more than one attempt. Streamers may practice the challenge prior to their attempt, but the moment they indicate that their challenge is underway, they must complete the challenge and submit the score into the Discord. Unless stated otherwise in the challenge description, the streamer may get assistance from their viewers. Any findings of wrong doing to circumvent the rules will result in a last place finish. All official CRUX Streamers are able to compete.

POINTS

Streamers will be given out points based on how they rank against the other competitors, which will be accumulated across all challenges to determine the overall winner of the Streamer Gauntlet. Both Hard and Easy Challenges will be weighted the same. The point distribution is as follows:

  • 1st - 18 points
  • 2nd - 14 points
  • 3rd - 11 points
  • 4th - 9 points
  • 5th-8th - 7 points
  • 9th-18th - 5 points

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES

All issues that arrive from technical difficulties will be assessed on whether the streamer will be allowed to retry. Issues such as power outages are outside of the streamer's control and will likely be given a second attempt. Streamers can assume that they will be given a second attempt automatically and try again, and the verdict on whether the second attempt will count is up to the admins.
