VAULT RACERS
SPEED AND LUCK
Vault Racers is a 2-player speed running/treasure hunting competition within Warframe, where the winning pair of the final event wins $200 worth of in-game prizes, and second place earns $50 worth of in-game prizes.
Score is based on the sum of in-game time it takes to complete the best 4 of 5 vault runs on Horend in Deimos. Each week a pair will qualify for the finals, those 4 pairs will compete in a double elimination bracket at the end of the season to determine the overall winner.
One member of the pair must have discord screen sharing capabilities as the runs will be utilizing screen sharing for integrity purposes.
WHAT IS A VAULT RUN?
A vault runs on Horend in Deimos is successfully completing the capture missions while also collecting the corrupted mod from the Orokin Vaults, utilizing one of 4 Dragon Keys (Bleeding, Decaying, Extinguished, and Hobbled). Both players may have all 4 Dragon Keys equipped, and they are also permitted to utilize any in-game features that enable them to find the Orokin Vaults quicker.
If the mission switches to an exterminate mission, it will not count towards their 5 total runs. If the pair complete the capture mission without successfully finding the vault, it will count as their 5th slowest run. If the pair complete the capture missions without successfully finding the vault more than once in their 5 runs, their run will be disqualified.
TRY AGAIN AND TRY AGAIN
With Vault Racers running several times per week, pairs will be able to compete at least once a week to set a new best times, a maximum of 4 opportunities over the whole event. You can switch out your partner each week if so desired.
If a player has already competed that week, and competes with a different player again, only their worst time will count.
EARN NRG
Pairs will earn themselves 1000 NRG the first time they successfully complete a Vault Run without being disqualified. Top racers each week will earn themselves an extra 5000 NRG each week. The winner of the whole competition will win 20,000 NRG!
